RGN Team Leader, Stanmore, HA7. A full-time position is available for a RGN to lead a team providing 2:1 care and support to a fabulous young lady (17) with complex care and medical needs. £65,520.00 + Gross per Annum Nearest Tube/Station: Stanmore Underground Station Wage/Salary: £35.00 weekdays | £37.00 Weekends | £65,520.00 + per Annum | All figures quoted in gross Driver Essential? Yes, essential and WAV for use on duty Essential: Registered General Nurse (RGN) with managerial / lead background, experience supporting children with complex medical care needs. This role is open to *female applicants only. Start Date: ASAP Days & Hours: 36 hours per week 2 x 12 hour shifts and 12 hours per week admin / team lead duties Family/Client Pets: Yes, a friendly Labrador Accommodation: Staff room with desk, computer etc. for admin tasks Recruiter: Jade (url removed) About this client/child: Winnie, 17, is a fabulous ‘girly-girl’, with a great sense of humour; a social butterfly who loves to laugh! Winnie loves to have her hair and nails done, to look as fabulous as she is. She has a long list of hobbies and interests, including listening to music, watching movies and all things arts and crafts. Winnie has Cerebral Palsy (GMFCS Level 5), scoliosis, Dystonia, requires suctioning (oral), nebulisers, and has a Gastrostomy in situ for all nutrition, fluids and medication, she is a wheelchair user, and communicates using switches. Due to her care needs Winnie has 2:1 support, 24/7, to meet all her health, care and medical needs. Winnie lives in Stanmore with her mum, in a fully adapted home that includes a therapy room. Snap Care, working in collaboration with Winnie’s case manager, are recruiting a full care team, including a deputy team leader to support you in your role. Overview of role: The RGN lead will have the opportunity to support Winnie, alongside a team member to support with all area: ADLs, medical needs, promoting independence and exploring new hobbies and interests. The role involves working a mixture of days, waking nights, weekends and will include hours dedicated to team leading duties. The RGN Team Leader will be responsible for managing and leading a large care team, fostering a supportive ethos, and ensuring all aspects of Winnie’s care plan are regularly reviewed, remain current and implemented consistently. Administrative tasks such as updating care plans, completing staff training, supervisions / appraisals, monthly team teams, induction of new staff, managing stock levels, organisation medical and therapy appointments, maintain, coordinate and review the staff rota, annual leave, sickness levels and agency cover. Winnie would like the RGN Team Leader to travel with her abroad or in the UK.
