Caretaker

Monarch Education are looking for a Caretaker to support the upkeep of two of our partner schools sites, based in GL2. This is an urgent requirement and will see you carry out general maintenance and grounds work across two local sites. You will need to have relevant experiences and be able to travel between sites. Although initially a temporary role, this has the potential to extend further and see you work across multiple sites and potentially extend the length of the opportunity. The successful applicant will be responsible for (but not limited too): Ongoing repair and odd job work as necessary. Supervision of maintenance work and directing on site contractors. Movement of furniture's such as setting up and taking down tables and chairs. General upkeep of the school groups. Clearing rubbish, leaves, ice, and snow as appropriate. Liaising with the site manager and cleaning staff to ensure the work undertaken meets the standards of the school. Manage the site team (to include the cleaning team) and plan and monitor the workloads. Support other Academies within Central Region Schools Trust where appropriate. Benefits: £15 per hour.
