Machine Operative

Hours: (Week 1 Days) 06:00 - 18:00 (Week 2 Nights) 18:00 - 06:00 - working on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern.

Pay: 13.25 per hour ( 12.25 per hour plus a bonus of 1.00 per hour which is paid on attendance and performance)

Extrastaff have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operative to join an ever-growing family run business in Desborough.

This is a 12 week temp to perm role for suitable candidates. Shifts are 12 hours and are 4on4off rotating days/nights. All hours are paid and full training will be provided.

Own transport is essential due to location

Main Duties/Responsibilities as a Machine Operative:

• To ensure that smooth running of the conversion/extrusion/print machinery is maintained.
• To complete mandatory audit sheet regularly.
• Run machines safely and efficiently to produce high quality goods with minimum production down time.
• Pack according to the specification and put your identifier on every description label.
• Ensure products are labelled, packed and palletised correctly, safely, securely and neatly ready for transportation to the customer in a presentable manner.
• 12 hour shift.
• Full time.
