Database Administrator

Synapri has partnered with a renowned broadcasting media production company who is seeking a Database Administrator on a permanent basis.You will be supporting and developing databases for existing and new applications, assisting with bug fixing, development and testing as well as participating in group activities involving demonstrations, design reviews, etc.The client is (ideally) seeking someone with knowledge and experience in:Proven 2 years+ experience with Microsoft SQL ServerExperience with DML and DDL commands to change DB structures and update the dataKnowledge of SSISUnderstanding of Data management processes in large organisationsExperience with PostgreSQLFamiliarity with designing databasesFamiliarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDBUnderstanding of the Agile methodologyIf this role seems like something of interest to yourself, please apply for immediate consideration.
