Inspection Team Lead

The Inspection Team Leader will work alongside and supervise QC Inspectors and will be responsible for ensuring workflow through the department. You will be highly competent and capable of training others to interpret engineering drawings for inspection purposes using CMM or gauges as required. THE INSPECTION TEAM LEADER WILL BE: • Apprentice trained to a minimum of City & Guilds • Highly competent and experienced gauge and CMM Inspector • Competence and ability to a lead small team and provide workflow direction & priorities in the department THE INSPECTION TEAM LEADER WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE IN: • Verification of subcontract operations specified in the Works Order pack • Identify and record non conformances • Ability to competently read and understand manufacturing drawing requirements including geometric tolerances. • Generate PPQP and FAI reports • Preferably have CMM programming skills (Software – Aberlink) This role would suit an individual with previous experience in a sub-contract componentry with great motivational and organisational skills. Preferably within a machine shop environment and in the aerospace and / or nuclear sector. You will have a good eye for detail and methodical approach
