Role: No. 1 Project ManagerLocation: South-West London Job: Residential Re-Cladding Projects Type: Permanent Salary: Up to 80,000 + PackageAre you an experienced Project Manager or Senior Site Manager looking to take the step up No.1, with a solid background in managing external façade projects?My client, a highly reputable and well-established building contractor, is looking for a driven and dynamic individual to join their team and lead a significant residential recladding project spanning 60 weeks in South West London.The Opportunity: This is an exceptional opportunity for a No. 1 Project Manager to lead a large scale re-clad project on an existing residential development. You will take full ownership of the project, leading and developing a large, multidisciplinary team while managing all phases of the project lifecycle.The role will focus on external facades, renders and balustrades, making prior experience in similar projects particularly valuable.Key Responsibilities:Lead the successful delivery of the project, ensuring timelines, budget, and quality standards are met. Working alongside a Commercial ManagerManage the entire construction programme, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion.Oversee all health and safety compliance on site, including site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work.Take responsibility for logistics planning, labour, and plant resource management.Hold regular progress meetings with the site team, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.Ensure the project meets regulatory and client expectations while keeping within cost limitations.Your Profile: To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:Proven experience in running external façade projects valued between 1m - 10m.A strong background in construction or development with a track record of being client-facing.Exceptional project leadership qualities with the ability to effectively manage large teams.Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety management on construction sites.Excellent technical and financial acumen, with the ability to control project costs and maintain profitability.Preferred experience with BSR applications.What’s in it for you?
