Job title: MFL Teacher Location: Birmingham Job Type: Temporary - full and part time hours to suit Salary: Competitive- dependent on experience. Expected start date: As soon as possible Career Teachers are looking to recruit experienced and passionate Modern Foreign Languages Teachers to work within a cluster of Secondary Schools in and around the Birmingham area. We are extremely busy with requests from our schools with the flexibility of working around your commitments with part-time and full-time hours to suit, as well as short-term and long-term assignments. We are extremely busy with requests for Teachers of French, Spanish and German. As a supply teacher you will: Deliver high-quality MFL lessons to pupils aged 11 to 16 (key stage 3 and 4) Be adaptable to cover pre-planned general cover lessons where required Encourage pupils to interact within the class and engage in activities throughout the lesson. Provide detailed feedback on pupil's achievement and progress Manage classroom behaviour in line with the schools policies and procedures The role advertised is for temporary supply work. Qualifications & Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field Right to work in the UK. Experience in teaching French, Spanish and/or German at key stage 3 and 4 Excellent communication and organisational skills. Passionate and dedicated to teaching and learning. Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
