Development Planner

The business is currently in growth mode and adding to its planning team as it has acquired a lot of land (both immediate and strategic) over the past 24 months. You will be working on several very exciting and high-profile planning applications in KentYou will be a town planner with 2-5 years post-graduation experience in local authority, council, or planning consultancy in Kent. You will have a good understanding of planning policy in Kent.This is a unique and rare opportunity to work for one of the most dynamic and entrepreneurial property developers in Kent and to work with some of the leading names in land buying, development, and planning.The salary on offer is £30-40k complemented by a comprehensive package. Additionally, you will benefit from a flexible hybrid working arrangement.Responsibilities:As a Senior Planner, you will have a central role in supervising and orchestrating planning and development initiatives throughout Kent, Sussex & South London. Your duties encompass:Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects align with strategic development objectives.Formulating and presenting planning applications, with ongoing communication with regulatory bodies.Assessing and proposing resolutions for intricate planning and zoning issues.Sustaining a commitment to ongoing research, keeping up to date with local, regional, and national planning regulations and industry best practices.Key RequirementsDegree qualified and also MRTPICurrently working for a planning consultancy or residential developer/ house developer experience in strategic landDetailed experience in dealing with residential planning applications and appeals.Bright, ambitious and determined to succeed.
