Health And Safety Officer

We are currently looking for a Health And Safety Officer to join a leading biotechnology company based in the Greater London area. As the Health And Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe workplace environment by identifying and mitigating risks to health and safety. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Health & Safety Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. Ensure the company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting. 2. Co-ordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work, and procedures. 3. Ensure that all health and safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated. 4. Establish a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the company, ensuring that complete and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Health And Safety Officer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1. Relevant degree in a health and safety-related field. 2. Proven industry experience in health and safety management (preferably within the pharma / biopharma or biotech industries). 3. A working knowledge and practical experience with health and safety legislation and best practices.
