Hardware Test Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer in Brentwood supporting a large Media Client! Below is a quick summary of the role and requirements:

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct hardware testing and produce detailed test reports.
• Develop and maintain automation test tools to enhance test efficiency.
• Collaborate with Design and Development teams for product testing and evaluation, recommending further investigations when necessary.
• Create and develop test plans for new technologies and products.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Required:
• Experience with electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analysers).
• Proficiency in test and validation methodologies and scripts for hardware/systems.
• Engineering mindset with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Background in Electronics.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (EMC, Radio, Safety).
• Ability to sort and present test data effectively.
• UK driver’s license and own car for commuting to off-site test houses.
• Plusses:
• Experience working with developers to design test cases for new products/technologies.
• Ability to summarize technical information for different audiences.
• Some experience in managing a test workstack.
