Are you ready to rethink your routine? We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the successful strategy and execution of new product launches at Trinny London on a 12 month FTC mat cover. Reporting into our Marketing Director and working closely with key cross-functional stakeholders, our Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and delivering the product marketing roadmap, setting clear objectives and hitting revenue targets that are set out for new and existing products.

The Role

Your daily to-dos might look like this:

  • Head up and develop a Product Marketing function. Lead, manage and mentor the Product Marketing team, including our Product Marketing Coordinator and Product Marketing Assistant.
  • Drive product strategy and go-to-market plans for all new product launches and reactivations for all channels, including articulating and validating the value proposition and USP to drive new customer acquisition, activation and retention.
  • Develop the marketing message and story to ensure the most effective product marketing activity to improve conversion and impact.
  • Work with all channel leads to help ensure we do all we can to hit all revenue targets for new product launches and product pushes in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Evaluate opportunities based on research, quantitative analysis, a deep understanding of Trinny London products and a strategic view of the industry and synthesise insights to develop actionable product strategy and recommendations to execute.
  • Provide benchmark data for all product marketing activities and include all relevant data and insights in the brief, including comparisons to past launches, relevant products purchased with similar products, regional breakdowns, and any other data that is pertinent to successful execution and growth.
  • Deeply understand all product categories, including all core competitors for specific categories with deep insights into their marketing activities.
  • Partner with Product Innovation to understand the value propositions for all Trinny London product categories inside out.
  • Build the product marketing roadmap for every new product launch and existing product push, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure everyone understands what is happening and when.
  • Deeply understand the customer lifecycle across all existing and new product categories to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Represent the needs of the customer to work with Product Innovation, Ops, Marketing, Retail and Tech to develop key messages and effective execution.
  • Work closely with Editorial to ideate content and ensure that all content is planned in advance (tease, launch and sustain) and continuously check to ensure content has been published and make suggestions for optimisations, as well as continuously monitoring comments to understand the customer response to product activities (feeding back to Marketing and NPD).
  • Work closely with Performance Marketing to ensure all relevant advertising is planned and created to optimise paid media activity (before, during and after).
  • Work closely with PR/Influencer Outreach to ensure product needs are represented early and delivered as required.
  • Work closely with Design to ensure they are clear on the value proposition and marketing story for all new product launches and product pushes, liaising with them before, during and after all assets are produced to ensure the creative that is delivered is what is required.
  • Assist on planning and producing shoots as required, partnering with Design.
  • Ensure that Tech understands what is required before, during and after all launches and product activities and continuously identify opportunities for improvement on the site to better convert, cross-sell and upsell customers.
  • Ensure each product message is strong and consistent across the website and all marketing channels.
  • Continuously and proactively communicate with all cross-functional stakeholders to keep them updated with key information (before, during, and after activities).
  • Curate and communicate real-time data and insights relating to all product launches and pushes to find opportunities for optimisation (proactively share this data and also continuously have all relevant data at hand to be ready if asked by any stakeholders).
  • Provide regular product insight and report information to senior management, Marketing and Product Innovation, preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and return-on-investment analyses.
  • Continuously analyse and review all relevant product categories, sharing market trends to propose new product ideas and/or product modifications to strengthen new and existing offerings.

These skills will help you go far in this role:

  • Senior level experience, managing a Product department within a beauty or skincare business.
  • Proven, leading experience in product marketing within the beauty industry.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour in the beauty sector.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Team management responsibilities, with experience building and growing a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools.
