Building Surveyor

We are currently partnering with a reputable South-Wales based Local Authority, who are recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their growing team on a three month contract, with opportunities to extend past this.This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of circa. £32.00 per hour via an umbrella company and the start date is subject to notice.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Revisiting already assessed Category One properties, completing compliance checks and progressing these cases as requiredCompleting surveys against the Housing Act 2004 Part OneIdentifying issues relating to Damp and Mould and structural issuesCarrying out surveys in line with HHSRSCreating specifications of work for remedial works as requiredCarrying out enforcement on works in line with landlords for specialist worksRequirements:Experience required in Social HousingExperience working with customers within housingHNC/HND or equivalent qualificationFull UK driving licenceRewards and Benefits:Hybrid working – 50% home/office & site splitFlexible working daysWorking hours:37 hours per weekMonday – Friday, flexible start/finish timesPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
