Height Safety Instructor

Location: LondonSummaryheightec is a well established provider of specialist training for work at height and rescue, delivered through our network of training centres across the UK. We have a requirement at our London training venues for a full time instructor. We will also accept applications for part-time/subcontractor work.Job PurposeReporting to the Training Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of training to clients in the rope access, rescue, government agency and telecoms industries together with other specialist sectors.ResponsibilitiesDeliver training courses at our London Height Safety Centre and client locationsMaintain high standards of safety with close supervision of traineesUnderstand legislation and principles of risk assessmentWork in accordance with defined proceduresMaintain high standard of knowledge and techniquesComplete course paperwork accuratelyInspect and maintain training equipmentGeneral building facility maintenanceExperienceIRATA and/or EUSR/MATS instructing experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given. We welcome applications from instructors with other relevant industry experience.Personal SkillsYou will have excellent communication skills. Training experience required and ideally a AET/CAVA qualification or equivalent.Essential SkillsIT to a basic level. Excellent verbal communication skills.
