Here at EMIS, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Product Designer to join our highly capable and talented Product Experience Design team on a permanent basis. We are looking for Senior Product Designers with a passion for designing innovative products in the digital world. Collaboration is key at EMIS; you will work closely with the wider Product Design team to shape the end experiences for our healthcare professionals. You will play a significant part in end-to-end user centred design process for products that are shaping the next evolutionary stage in health technology. This Senior Product Designer position is mainly remote working; however, our product design team meet on an ad hoc basis in collaboration hubs in the south of England. What you will do As a Senior Product Designer, we will be looking for you to understand and appreciate how user research insights inform the design of our clinical products. Involved in every aspect of the PXD process, we want you promote a user centred and evidence-based approach to product design. You will be aligned to our innovative EMIS-X Analytics product, Pathway, that enables customers to execute population level proactive and preventive care initiatives using clinical intelligence that ultimately improves patient outcomes. We are looking for collaborators who can represent the user at all times with stakeholders whilst working in an agile framework. As a creative big picture designer, you will help foster user driven design approach! Other key responsibilities and accountabilities will include: Develop user journeys, task flows, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes in order to communicate interaction and design ideas, as well as validate assumptions and solutions with users, business, and technology. Identify the types of UX activities and deliverables required for specific requirements Partner with Product Managers & Owners to align UX best practice into agile processes. Who you will be We need you to be an experienced Product Designer with a passion for focusing design solutions on end user needs. You will be able to demonstrate experience in the discovery and ownership of the end-to-end design solutions in your career. Collaboration is essential; you will have the ability to create relationships with development teams to understand how technical integrations impact end user task flows. Technical and professional skills we are looking for you to demonstrate include; Expert Figma user – using a shared Design system to deliver hi fidelity designs and working prototypes Confident storyteller – the ability to clearly communicate design decisions based on user and other relevant insights Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
