We are working with a leading personal injury law firm in Northern Ireland who are recruiting for Solicitors in Belfast or Newry.
The Role:
The successful candidate will work on a range of litigation claims (road traffic accidents, accidents at work, credit hire claims etc.) and will take ownership of a varied and busy workstream. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team who focus on legal excellence as well as encouraging their staff to have a healthy work-life balance.
The successful candidate will have carriage of claims from their inception and all solicitors work closely with their clients to take instructions and achieve early settlement where possible. Very often the claims will go to court and the successful candidate will become proficient at running cases to hearing. Our client is keen to speak to experienced litigation solicitors (from both Plaintiff and Defence backgrounds) as well as junior solicitors seeking to move into this area of law.
Essential Criteria:
- NQ+;
- Experienced in litigation (desirable but not necessary);
- Ability to multi-task;
- Great communication skills (both written and verbal);
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
