Maintenance Assistant

We are pleased to be recruiting a Maintenance Assistant for our established client in the Bridgend area. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure smooth running of the factory equipment during production hours (day and night) * Liaise with the Operations Director/Technical Manager to ensure all equipment is checked according to the maintenance schedule with additions as and when required. * To ensure products are produced in a timely manner to meet customer requirements * Liaise with Production Manager to ensure customer requirements are met with as little maintenance interruption as possible * Ensure that all areas are secured or locked after any maintenance requirement and necessary paperwork is completed as advised by the Technical Manager * Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times in respect of yourself and others. * To ensure correct workwear is worn at all times * Sign any necessary paperwork when required * Ensure that adequate stocks of maintenance materials are kept at all times. * To comply with all audits as directed by the Manager ​ To ensure that all equipment is maintained to ensure that quality products to sell to the mass market. As part of a team you are required to ensure the production line is operational every day and ensure the line is to an acceptable hygienic working environment as required by the Technical Manager.
