Vehicle Technician

We are a small friendly family run business looking for a helpful, flexible and efficient person to join our team.

You will be required to carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics and maintenance on a wide variety of makes and models of vehicles. Working 40hrs per week (Mon Fri 8am to 5pm with 1hour unpaid lunch break) Could be flexible on hours for he right candidate.

Responsibilities include;

• Carrying out routine servicing and repairs
• Inspecting vehicles to a very high standard
• Testing and diagnosing vehicle faults
• Repairing and replacing vehicle parts
• Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance
• Keeping workspace and workshop clean and tidy
• Adhering to Health and Safety in the workshop
• Carrying out MOT s (Preferable but not essential)

Requirements for this role;

• Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds, NVQ) or equivalent (minimum requirement)
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience
• Experience of diagnostic work is really important
• FGas trained
• Valid driving licence
• Good team player
• Ability to work alone / use own initiative
