Contracts Engineer

Role Description

The Contracts Engineer will provide global support to the Commercial department in tender preparation along with supporting the Operations team in relation to project commercial issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and collate budget proposals and tenders, including associated subcontractor and supplier proposals (where applicable) in accordance with our internal management systems
• Prepare detailed and accurate tender price estimates
• Maintain up to date and comprehensive clarification registers for tenders, as well as commercial databases such as CRM
• Lead the handover process between Commercial and Operations of all relevant commercial and contractual documents including a detailed review of the tender risk register.

Requirements

• Sound numerical and analytical skills
• Several years’ experience in a similar role
• Highly PC literate with proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft
• Educated to degree level, preferably with business related degree
• Experience of operating in global jurisdictions given the global remit of this role is desirable.
