Our client is an independent charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and academic achievement.
Our client is now looking for a Resettling Communities Integration Officer to join their team on a part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week, for a five month fixed term contract with the possibility of renewal. The hours for this role are Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, with occasional short weekend shifts.

The Role
As a Resettling Communities Integration Officer, you will support the successful resettlement and integration of refugees and migrants in the South Gloucestershire area.
You will play a key role in providing quality advice, information and guidance to various cohorts, including Ukrainian refugees and British Nationals Overseas visa holders, as part of the Resettling Communities Team.
Delivering person-centred support to your designated caseload, you will conduct initial needs and risk assessments for service users, develop personalised support plans and provide ongoing, trauma-informed assistance.
You will offer guidance on critical areas such as housing, finance, employment, education and health, while helping individuals access relevant services and opportunities.
Additionally, you will:
- Deliver advice services at community hubs and organise social activities and workshops
- Develop partnerships with external organisations to enhance the support network
- Keep detailed records and ensure each support plan is regularly reviewed and adapted to the changing needs of the service users
About You
To be considered as a Resettling Communities Integration Officer, you will need:
- Experience providing advice and guidance, advocacy and culturally sensitive support
- An understanding of the importance of safeguarding, in relation to working with vulnerable adults
- A full, valid driving licence and access to a car
