Are you passionate about quality assurance and testing? Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join their team. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and ensuring products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. * £12.50 hourly * Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 * This role is on an initial 12 month contract. * Hands-on role in a dynamic lab environment The Role: The Quality Technician will: * Conduct daily testing of production products. * Apply scientific principles to problem-solving. * Perform product and system design verification testing for functional compliance, performance, reliability, usability, and environmental limits. * Set up and monitor automated test equipment. * Record and organise test results, issuing detailed test reports. * Operate and maintain lab equipment and environmental test systems. * Work independently and with Quality Assurance and development engineers/technicians. The Candidate: The Quality Technician should have: * Experience working in a test lab or quality testing role. * Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel and Word. * Experience in an office or lab environment. * GCSE Maths and English pass or equivalent academic or professional training. * Familiarity with test equipment such as environmental chambers, microscopes, scopes, logic and bus analyzers, and PC-based testers. * Basic understanding of digital logic circuits, interfaces, analog electronics principles, and PC video systems. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently. The Package: The Quality Technician will receive an hourly wage of £12.50. This role offers an engaging work environment with the opportunity to work on innovative technologies.
