Finance & Corporate Services Manager

Ark Housing Association based in Belfast is a progressive Housing Association with ambitious plans for growth over the next five years. We are seeking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our organisation as Finance & Corporate Services Manager. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Corporate Services, the successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of all financial services to the Association including the preparation of revenue and capital budgets, management and financial accounts, treasury management and forecasts, regulatory and monitoring returns on financial and other aspects of the Associations performance. You will also play a pivotal role in the management and deliverance of high quality, efficient, and effective corporate and business assurance services for the organisation. The successful candidate is likely to: Be a fully Qualified Accountant with one of the recognised bodies (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or other recognised equivalent accountancy qualification). Have a minimum of three years post qualification experience in financial and management accounting including budgets, annual accounts, project appraisal, risk management, two years of which are post qualification experience in a senior / supervisory capacity. Be able to demonstrate experience in at least two of the following areas: Financial policy and Planning Corporate & Regulatory Compliance Reporting Corporate & Business Assurance Be able to demonstrate knowledge in at least three of the following areas: Corporate & Regulatory Compliance Reporting Corporate & Business Assurance Data Protection Equality & Disability Procurement & Contract Management Additionally, the successful candidate should possess excellent level of IT literacy with extensive experience in the use of a wide range of Microsoft Office products and must also have effective interpersonal and written communication skills. What we can offer you: A salary ranging from £41,034 - £49,006 (Depending on experience) A Contributory Pension Scheme (Currently 19% employer contribution) An essential car user allowance of £1,239 per annum and mileage is reimbursed at a rate of £0.45p per mile travelled for work purposes. 22 days annual leave moving to 27 after 5 years service and 32 days after 10 years service. 13 customary holidays per annum.
