Practice Accountant

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE) 23 days holiday + birthday off + bank holidays Trialling a 4-day work week (full-time) An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Practice Accountant to join a dynamic and growing client based in Stafford. Job Description: * Preparation of corporation tax returns, partnerships and personal tax returns * Self-assessment tax returns * VAT returns * Monthly management accounts * Balance Sheet reconciliations * Preparing budget forecasts * Tax advisory to companies and individuals * Completion and submission of payrolls to HMRC * Liaising with HMRC with queries * Bookkeeping * Overseeing and managing staff Candidate Requirements: * Qualified to ACCA or ACA * Practice experience essential * Experience in auditing tax preferred but not essential * Experience using Iris, Xero, Quickbooks and Sage * Ability to work under pressure * Excellent IT skills * Good communication skills
