Sutton Recruitment are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join a leading company specialising in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality plastic products within the construction industry. Duties & Responsibilities You will have working experience of: • Nominal/general ledger accounts and journals • Bank postings and Credit Card reconciliations • Maintenance of payroll control accounts • VAT Returns • Purchase Ledger maintenance • Including posting of purchase orders and supplier invoices, both service invoices and stock invoices including booking in of goods received against purchase orders • Entering of purchase invoices and purchase orders • A diligent approach to invoice checking and signing off procedures • Reconciliation to supplier statements • Raising of bulk supplier payments • Sales Ledger maintenance • Including posting of sales orders and invoices, both service invoices and stock invoices including booking out of goods despatched against sales orders, (Including invoicing customers and chasing POD's) • Credit control • Posting of bank receipts • Experience of international sales would be useful to support our project management and administration staff • Stock Control and Costings • Preferably you will have experience of maintenance of stock records, • including updating from purchase and sales orders • Manual adjustments to stock quantities • Processing of stock counts • You will be prepared to get involved in the daily preparation and tracking of project and stock costings, including liaising with our Production Manager and Supervisors • Systems experience • You will be experienced in the use of SAGE 50, Excel and Word

Qualifications required • AAT Level 3 • CIMA • ACCA The successful candidate will also offer administration support to the rest of the team, including archiving, ordering stationary, filing, answering the phone and covering reception duties.

What’s on offer; • Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 16:30pm (30 minute lunch un-paid) • 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (Birthday off) • Nest Pension; 3% client, 5% employee

To be suitable for this role, you must have a full driving license and your own vehicle to begin with.
