Teaching Assistant

DCM Recruitment is looking for a Secondary School Teaching Assistant (TA) to provide essential classroom support in a York-based school. As a TA, you’ll work alongside teachers to create a supportive learning environment and help students reach their potential. Key Responsibilities * Support students individually or in small groups to facilitate learning. * Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation. * Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation. * Help manage classroom behaviour and address student needs. Requirements * Qualifications: Relevant TA certifications preferred but not essential. * Experience: Previous experience working in a secondary school setting, but not essential. * Skills: Strong communication and a passion for student development.
