How confident are you in breaking down the barriers that affect students and their behaviour as a proactive Behaviour Mentor? Are you seeking a challenging, yet rewarding position as a Behaviour Mentor in a dynamic school? The Role - Behaviour Mentor Providing support to students with challenging behaviour or special needs Run small groups or intentions for students with behavioural difficulties Assist students with learning difficulties by providing them with learning materials Providing one-on-one support Work closely with other members of the behavioural team and the SEND Coordinator To plan and develop strategies for supporting pupils both individually and in groups. Organise and supervise extracurricular activities during lunchtime and outside of school hours. Support pupils who experience difficulties during breaks by organizing lunchtime activities. Provide students with a variety of strategies for managing and resolving conflicts. The School - Behaviour Mentor Located in Lewisham, the existing secondary school is a six-form entry school with approximately 1,000 students. In addition to being highly qualified, teachers are able to support a wide range of needs at the school.
