Role Overview:

The Head of HR will drive high performance and employee engagement, supporting global growth. This hands-on role involves developing and implementing HR policies tailored to both UK and US regions. Reporting to the CEO, this full-time position includes market-rate pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

Collaborate with the senior leadership team and present to the Board. Support the CEO and Remuneration Committee on key HR policies and compensation. Compensation & Benefits:

Ensure market-relevant, cost-effective solutions in the UK and US. Oversee payroll processes with Finance. Culture & Employee Relations:

Maintain a positive work culture and address employee concerns. Recruitment:

Oversee recruitment, enhance employer branding, and optimize direct hiring. Performance Management:

Implement transparent career development processes and support talent management. Training & Development:

Develop in-house training programs and support employee growth. HR Strategy:

Collaborate with senior management on HR goals aligned with corporate objectives. Infrastructure:

Enhance HR tools to ensure consistent management practices and compliance.

Qualifications: Strong HR generalist experience, ideally in the Biotech sector. Knowledge of both UK (essential) and US (desirable) employment law. Experience in an SME environment and presenting to senior leaders/Board. Capable of both strategic discussions and operational efficiency. Skilled in team management and developing in-house training programs.
