Are you an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager with experience working in the waste or energy Industry, looking for a new challenge? Join Levenseat Renewable Energy and make a real impact as a Health, Safety and Environment Manager in a leading resource management company. We are looking for an organised and systematic individual to champion and embed a proactive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture across our waste and energy from waste plant, ensuring the well-being of our people and the protection of our environment. This role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement in HSE performance, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and permits, and fostering a collaborative approach to risk management and incident prevention. The HSE Manager will be a visible leader and advocate for HSE excellence, working closely with operational and maintenance teams to integrate safe and sustainable practices into all aspects of the plant's operation. This includes maintaining robust HSE documentation, overseeing environmental monitoring and reporting, and actively promoting a culture where everyone understands their role in achieving our HSE goals For additional duties please reffer to the attached Job description. Essential Skills Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (e.g., NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice). Membership of IOSH (MIOSH) or working towards it.Experience: 3 years experience in a HS&E Management role. Proven experience in developing, implementing and managing HSE programs. Experience in the waste and/ or energy sector would be an advantage. Experience in environmental management and compliance would be an advantage. Accident and incident investigation and root cause analysisKnowledge: UK H&S legislation Environmental legislation Basic operational processes Quality systems, standards, and applications ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001Software Packages: Microsoft Office software, in particular Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to analyse and interrogate simple data into useable performance information (KPIs etc)Please see attached Job description for further details.
