Job Title: Regional Manager – Children’s Residential Care Homes (West Midlands) Location: West Midlands Salary: DOE Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent We are excited to be partnering with a well-established and growing children’s care provider in the recruitment of an experienced Regional Manager. This provider operates several high-quality children’s residential homes across the West Midlands, delivering therapeutic care to young people with emotional and behavioural needs. About the Role: As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple residential homes within the West Midlands region, ensuring high standards of care and compliance across the services. You will provide leadership, operational management, and strategic direction to Registered Managers, ensuring that the homes meet all Ofsted standards and offer a safe, supportive environment for the children. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage a team of Registered Managers across multiple children’s homes. * Ensure homes operate in line with Ofsted regulations and other relevant legislation. * Drive quality improvements and maintain high standards of care. * Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement regional strategies. * Monitor performance, budgets, and occupancy levels, identifying areas for improvement. * Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed and continuously reviewed. * Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities and regulatory bodies. * Support Registered Managers with staff development, training, and recruitment. * Ensure children’s needs are met through tailored care plans and therapeutic interventions. Key Requirements: * Proven experience as a Regional or Operations Manager within children’s residential care. * A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and children’s home standards. * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent). * Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams across multiple sites. * Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills. * Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. * Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the region.
