As one of the fastest growing businesses in the industry, Montu is now actively looking to expand the team to take the company to the next level in the UK.Role descriptionThe role of the Governance and Compliance Manager is suited to an individual with a clinical background in medicine, nursing, pharmacy or allied health (physiotherapist, occupational therapist etc). The role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and working with several regulators. You must have a comprehensive understanding of good governance and risk management. You will work in an environment focused on actively managing governance and assurance across a number of services and ensuring that patient and staff safety remains paramount. You will be working alongside the Head of Governance and Leadership Team. You will support arrangements for governance and the coordination of corporate and legal compliance across the organisation. You will also support day-to-day coordination and oversight of all governance and compliance related meetings and working groups and ensuring efficient information flows between all teams.You will play a key role within the organisation to ensure a modern approach to clinical standards, audit, and effectiveness is adopted, including the integration of continuous quality improvement skills and techniques. They will lead the preparation of evidence relating to clinical effectiveness and audit for internal and external reports, reviews and inspections and advise on relevant processes throughout the services.Annual Salary £50,000 to £60,000 PA Pro-rataResponsibilities will include but not be restricted to:Collaboration with teams across the companyData mappingAudits (clinical and non-clinical)Quality assuranceIncident Management and supportRisk Assessments, Analysis, Management and SupportComplaints handling and supportSupport and lead in operations/governance projectsSupport or lead in the management and development of policies and proceduresSupporting or lead change managementScheduling and minuting of meetings as requiredCascading governance related information internallySupporting with all aspects of governance and compliance across all teamsService improvement and developmentDeputising for the Head of GovernanceSkills, Experience, and Qualification:Educated to degree level or qualified by demonstrable experience in a clinical areaExperience of regulatory requirements and compliance, legal interactions, procurement, insurance, and contractsAble to investigate, manage and create actionable service improvement plans through incident/deviation managementExperience of creation and delivery of training programmesThe ability to research best practices and support implementation across teams.The ability to manage the operational aspect of the role regarding governance and complianceThe ability to learn and develop quicklyExcellent organisation skills, attention to detail and a systematic thinkerDesirableHolds or is willing to work towards a recognised qualification in Governance / Risk managementBenefits:You'll get a 30 days holiday plus bank holidays pro rata.You can join our generous pension scheme and the employer will match contributionsup to 5%There are lots of opportunities to work on cross-team projects and represent Montu at events such as awards, trade shows and fairsCycle to work scheme
