About the Role:
Are you a skilled Carpenter looking for a stable role with a leading social housing contractor? My client is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join their team, covering properties in the West London and Chelsea area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the social housing sector, focusing on void and occupied properties, performing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake all aspects of carpentry, including door hanging, kitchen fitting, and repairs to fixtures and fittings. Carry out responsive and planned maintenance on social housing properties. Work on void properties to ensure they are ready for new tenants. Collaborate with other tradespeople where necessary. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Carpenter within the social housing or residential sector. Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively. Full UK driving license (required). Strong communication skills for liaising with tenants and housing officers. CSCS card or equivalent (preferred but not essential).Benefits:
