Mechanical Technician

JG187 - Mechanical Technician Location:  Melbourne, Derby Salary: £25,500 + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently supporting a client in the search for a Mechanical Technician. The ideal candidate will be Mechanically focussed and will have come from a Mechanical Assembly / Mechanical Build position and be willing to upskill to become a service engineer. Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel however, all candidates will be considered. Duties and Responsibilities: You will undertake the build, service, maintenance and repair of dustless blasting equipment, compressors and air breathing units. Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of mechanical systems Engine fault finding All training will be provided Skills and Qualifications: NVQ or equivalent in mechanical engineering Experience in the build or servicing of engines or similar Some driving including towing of trailers will be required Be self-motivated and able to work independently Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills Location: Melbourne, Derby Salary: £25,500 + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card
