Maintenance Engineering manager

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. What you will be doing: Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, this challenging role includes driving & leading a team of engineers on site towards a structured approach in the department focused on preventative maintenance. Coordinating daily with the operational maintenance team leaders to lead & mentor events within the factory in order to improve equipment and process performance. Working together with the Manufacturing Manager and others in the management team to plan and execute a maintenance program to ensure the factory is in the best conditioned to meet the production requirement. Ensure that there is an uninterrupted supply of finished product to the packing area and that the plant is used efficiently. Be proactive in ensuring the site meets its targets for KPI's including energy usage and emissions control. What you will need to succeed: Experience working in a large factory / manufacturing company. Degree in Engineering: Preferable in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Leader of people, strong organisational skills & a good communicator Displays strong coaching and influencing skills, along with the ability to inspire employees and managers on all levels.
