PERSON SPECIFICATION: Building Surveyor / Building Services / Property As our new Senior Building Surveyor, it would be advantageous if you have worked on a variety of projects covering condition surveys, dilapidations, project management, and building pathology. We are looking for someone who is tenacious when it comes to business development creating new opportunities commercially. It is essential that you: · Are a member of RICS and are RICS qualified. · Have a proven track record providing advice on a range of building related matters. · Can confidently communicate with stakeholders both verbally and written. · Hold a full UK driving licence. JOB DESCRIPTION: Building Surveyor / Building Services / Property Your main responsibility will be to provide a full building surveying service to a range of clients across different sectors. In addition to this your main duties will include: · Supporting and advising other members of the surveying team · Providing professional building surveying duties including building inspections, acquisition surveys, dilapidations, contract administration, maintenance and refurbishment projects, schedules of condition, party wall awards. · Working on a variety of projects valued up to £1 million in a range of properties including commercial, residential and agricultural. · Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new clients nationally and locally. · Develop and maintain an up-to-date awareness of all necessary legislation THE COMPANY: Founded over a century ago, we specialise in property management and consultancy services, delivering expert advice in rural estate management, commercial property, and planning.
