Job Advertisement: Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor Location: Snowdonia, North Wales Salary: Competitive package, including car allowance and accommodation provided We are a major Civil Engineering Group seeking to expand our commercial department with an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor. Join us on a high-profile, multi-million-pound project based in the picturesque region of Snowdonia. This is a 9-figure value project, set to run until 2029, offering the successful candidate accommodation alongside a competitive package and significant scope for career progression. Key Responsibilities: Managing all costs related to civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Overseeing financial management, including cost planning, procurement, and contract administration. Collaborating with project teams to ensure commercial and contractual success. Administering NEC contracts (strong experience in this area is a plus). Supporting the project team with cost forecasting, change management, and financial reporting. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within civil engineering. Expertise in tunnelling would be highly advantageous. Strong knowledge and experience with NEC contracts. Excellent understanding of cost control, contract law, and risk management. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
