Role Overview We are looking for a Podcast Producer (Recruitment Agency Specialist) to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate is someone with hands-on experience in recruitment who is eager to transition into the world of media and podcasting. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production of recruitment-focused podcasts, from ideation to distribution, while working directly with recruitment firms, industry leaders, and influencers. You will help shape podcast content, leverage your recruitment knowledge to craft engaging episodes, and be a key point of contact for clients in the recruitment space. As the first hire, you'll have a unique opportunity to grow with us, developing your skills across media production, client management, and business development. Key Responsibilities: Podcast Production: Oversee the full podcast production cycle (planning, recording, editing, and publishing) with a focus on recruitment and career topics Content Development: Collaborate with clients to brainstorm and develop compelling podcast episode ideas, drawing on your recruitment knowledge to ensure relevance and value Guest Sourcing & Interviewing: Identify and book guests from the recruitment industry (HR professionals, recruitment leaders, career coaches) and prepare interview scripts Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients in the recruitment space, ensuring their needs are met and that podcasts align with their employer branding and talent acquisition goals Editing & Audio Quality: Coordinate with external sound engineers or in-house staff to ensure high-quality podcast production Industry Insight: Utilize your recruitment industry experience to stay up to date on the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring the content is relevant and resonates with the audience Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining communication with clients and collaborators Skills & Experience: Recruitment Industry Background: 2+ years of experience working directly in the recruitment agency industry is essential A degree from a recognised UK university - ideally in English, Graphic Design or associated Creative field Passion for Media & Podcasting: A genuine interest in breaking into the podcasting or media production field. Prior experience with podcasting is a plus but not essential Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with guests and clients professionally Creative Thinker: Ability to generate creative and innovative content ideas, especially focused on recruitment and career-related topics.
