Sports Coach (Cover Supervisor) Colchester £110 - £130 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) October 2024 The School and Role We are working with a large, Multi-Academy Trust School in Colchester. Our partnering Secondary school is seeking candidates to work as a Sports Coach, successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on daily supply or in longer fixed term supply contracts. As a Sports Coach you will be responsible for leading lessons in Physical Education in the Sports Centre. The school is looking for someone who has a passion for PE and Sports and is able to manage a class of up to 30 students at one time and has a good subject knowledge of Sports Coaching or PE. This role offers flexibility, professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences. No prior experience working within a school is required, as we offer a Trainee Cover Supervisor Course to prepare you for the role. Requirements The desired Sports Coach will have: -                A degree in Sports Science or relevant coaching qualifications. -                Determination and resilience. -                Coaching or mentoring experience in a sports setting. -                Leadership skills and confidence to lead a class in the absence of a class teacher. -                A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
