True is an innovative and meticulous event set build company. Our team work on projects from stage sets to brand environments, props to exhibition stands with attention to detail and a high-quality finish at the heart of our ethos.
We are now looking to expand our team with the appointment of a Senior Project Manager with events industry experience (essential).
Quite simply we’re after someone whose ambitions match ours. You will:
- Be the project owner for large or complex projects, directing information to our internal and external partners
- Receive and understand client briefs and deliver accurate quotes aimed at inspiring client engagement
- Manage several projects simultaneously with the support of Project Managers and the Project Co-ordinator
- Liaise with the Construction Manager, Production Manager, Operations Team and our craftspeople to complete work on time and to the highest possible standard
- Track budget spend and project margin with adjustments made where required
- Provide direction to the Project Managers and wider team on larger projects
If you have experience with scenic construction for events, exhibitions, or bespoke builds then this could be the role for you. We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience of large and complex project management within the events construction industry
- A positive, proactive attitude with a creative flair for problem-solving whilst working to changing timelines and priorities
- The ability to regularly work autonomously on various projects, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- The capability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time
- The ability to professionally manage teams whilst out on site

This role is based at our Billericay office with projects all over the world! Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.00pm or 8.30am - 5.30pm on a rota basis. Site work will require out of hours and weekend working.
