Harvey Nash is delighted to partner with a leading logistics and supply chain organisation in the recruitment of a Distribution Centre Manager. This organisation has recently secured several significant contracts, with operations expanding alongside an existing portfolio that continues to require bespoke solutions.As a result, our partner is seeking a Distribution Centre Manager to provide direction to the operational and depot management team as well as supporting the Head of Distribution on strategic initiatives, as well as the further growth of the Distribution Centre.The ideal candidate will excel at building strong relationships with both internal and external clients, and will be passionate about delivering outstanding service.You will take a data-driven approach to ensure that your Distribution Centre operates efficiently, is properly resourced, and remains cost-effective to meet or exceed expectations throughout the peak delivery seasons.Key responsibilities:Leading your team to create a high-performance environment with a service- and people-oriented culture.Managing a team of operational managers, driving quality, and ensuring the Distribution Centres are properly resourced in line with data and budget expectations.Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, fostering a customer-centric environment within your team.Using data to assess the health of the Distribution Centre and identify trends, ensuring your teams and centres are appropriately resourced.Leading a high-performance team through effective leadership, upskilling, and development of team members.Possessing a full, valid UK driving licence and being able to travel as required.What’s in it for you?Salary: Circa £60,000 (flexible for the right candidate)Company car or car allowanceExcellent bonus schemeCompany pension26 days’ holiday + bank holidays (with options to buy or sell days)And much more
