They are now looking for a Graduate Product Designer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. If you meet the person specification for the role, please apply below. The role you will be doing * Develop and produce detailed drawings and designs using SolidWorks * Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes * Generate website diagrams and clear, concise instructions for products * Participate in research and development initiatives to innovate and improve company offerings * Budget and cost new designs to ensure they are market-ready * Seek out new suppliers and materials to enhance product quality and reduce costs * Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new products * Travel to industry exhibitions and events to gather inspiration and identify potential opportunities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements * Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies About You * Proficiency in SolidWorks * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials * Experience in creating SOPs, assembly instructions, and technical diagrams * Excellent budgeting and costing skills * Ability to conduct thorough market research and present findings * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Flexibility to travel to exhibitions and events as required * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
