About the Role…We have an exciting new vacancy for a Cybersecurity Manager to join our clients IT department. This position is ideal for a lead security analyst looking to take the step up into cyber management.As a member of our leadership team, the Cybersecurity Manager plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and infrastructure. This position is ideal for a dynamic and experienced professional who excels in team management and has a profound understanding of cybersecurity threats and solutions.Reporting directly into the Group Infrastructure & Security Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing robust security measures.If you are passionate about cybersecurity and thrive in a collaborative environment, we invite you to join our team and contribute to our mission of maintaining a secure and resilient IT infrastructure.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage and lead a team of cybersecurity engineers.Work closely with cyber personnel in other countries.Oversee the outsourced Security Operations Centre (SOC) function.Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Plan, implement, and oversee cybersecurity changes in a structured manner.Oversee security incident management and resolution processes.Maintain and update documentation of security incident playbooks, common practices, process flow diagrams, and the knowledge base.Manage workloads and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Report to senior management on the status of infrastructure projects and operations.Implement and maintain industry standard cybersecurity controls, testing and evidencing the effectiveness of the controls on a regular basis.Candidate RequirementsUnderstanding of emerging cyber requirements and cybersecurity threats.Broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies (with OT knowledge being an additional benefit).Experience working in an IT function and relevant field.Experience as a senior SOC analyst – looking to step up to management.Proven experience in the management and delivery of key cybersecurity projects.Demonstrated ability to collaborate for success with key business stakeholders.Experience managing and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining an EDR/XDR solution (e.G., Microsoft Defender, Tanium).Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) environment (e.G., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk).Strong organizational and project management skills.Excellent communication and reporting skills.What you will getUp to £55000 per annum Performance based bonus schemeFlexi Time Free Secure Car ParkEmployee Life Assurance
