Due to ongoing requirements, one of Northern Ireland's Tier 1 Construction & Civil Engineering contractors based in Co. Down are now recruiting for a SHE Manager to join their established HSEQ team within facilities management. Your new role
As SHE Manager, you will provide support and advice across this company's asset management department and contracts. Reporting to the Head of Safety, you will manage a team of Advisors in the management of safety procedures and legislation including maintaining the company SHEQ systems across the business.
You will create and complete risk assessments & method statements alongside undertaking site audits and inspections, accident investigations and reporting, developing and delivering training and completed construction phase plans. The role will see you based out of head office in Belfast with very limited monthly travel to site.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience working in a similar management role within a construction and / or facilities management environment. You'll demonstrate working and detailed Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation, especially CDM & Asbestos regs.
You must be professionally qualified to NEBOSH level or hold a relevant BSc Degree.
