Estimator - Facilities Management - Barrow in Furness - Up to £69,860 inclusive of car allowance plus excellent benefits This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK at one of their prestigious clients' sites based in Barrow in Furness who are experiencing significant growth. Salary: Up to £69,860 inclusive of car allowance Flex benefits (discount scheme) 25 days Holiday plus BH Healthcare Location: Barrow in Furness Hours of work: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Role Responsibilities: Manage the bid and resource co-ordination process involving both direct and indirect staff management. Preparation of proposal submissions including solution and option appraisal of new methods of FM Service delivery to identify valid and viable commercial delivery options. Obtaining specialist subcontractor costs. Formulate bid based on BDM brief where required. Labour loading of asset information. Attend site visits as required across the UK as part of the bid process. Progressing submitted tenders and assist in formulation of tender returns. Identification of a broad range of cost saving initiatives in line with contractual obligations. Interactions with client organisations as required, providing meaningful reports.The successful candidate: Educated to HNC/HND Standard (or equivalent). Excellent management experience. Must hold relevant qualification in quantity surveying (degree level preferable) Experience working within a QS capacity. Relevant experience of estimating within the FM Industry. Experience of working in an SFG20 environment is desirable. Proficient IT Skills to include, Word, Powerpoint and EXCEL.
