This Junior Geotechnical Engineer selected will be assisting with site walkovers, carrying out ground investigations and desk studies, taking soil samples, bore-hole logging, preparing phase plans, writing factual and interpretive reports, working on in situ testing and observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental & geotechnical knowledge.
The successful Junior Geotechnical Engineer must:
- Have some experience in Geotechnical /Geo-Environmental Engineering.
- Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geography, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
- Been keen to learn and develop geo-environmental and geotechnical skills.
- Be willing to work outdoors and travel for work.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Commutable to Glasgow and surrounding area.
- Have a full right to work in the UK.
