COMPANY OVERVIEW Firm Advice is leading the search for a Managing Director on behalf of a distinguished global nonprofit. The Managing Director will collaborate closely with the CEO and board to execute the organization’s strategic vision while overseeing key operational and leadership responsibilities. These responsibilities include advancing the nonprofit’s mission to ensure global access to technology, advocating for its values, leading a team of senior executives, and managing approximately 90 employees to deliver high-impact initiatives. The organization offers competitive, above-industry-standard benefits. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with the CEO and board to implement strategic objectives. Lead operational management and ensure alignment with the organization’s mission. Guide a team of senior executives and oversee key personnel in achieving organizational goals. Foster collaboration with global experts and manage a diverse, multicultural workforce to ensure the execution of major projects aimed at global impact. QUALIFICATIONS 15+ years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in senior leadership or executive roles, including direct experience in organizational leadership and board interaction. Strong background in the technology sector, particularly within telecom or internet industries. Extensive international experience, including working in multicultural environments and significant global travel. Proven leadership in managing distributed, global teams with diverse cultural norms. Expertise in implementing strategic plans in collaboration with executive leadership. Fluency in English is essential; additional language proficiency is a plus. International travel is required.
