Street Works Inspector

Service Care Solutions is seeking a Street Works Inspector for a client in Islington. The role involves conducting inspections, monitoring compliance with regulations, and reporting on street and road works for planned and emergency projects across the Islington network. You will provide technical support, attend site meetings, and ensure safety and legal standards are upheld. This is a full time, temporary assignment offering £28 per hour Umbrella LTD (approx £22.40 per hour PAYE). Key Responsibilities: Inspect and monitor street works, ensuring compliance with NRSWA (1991) and TMA (2004). Escalate urgent defects and emergencies. Record data using IT systems (Excel, Access, Word, Insight mobile). Attend meetings to advise on defect inspections and traffic management.Requirements: Experience in Street Works Inspection, with knowledge of the New Roads and Street Works Act (1991) and Traffic Management Act (2004). NRSWA Supervisory Accreditation. Demonstrable achievement in relevant education, training, and professional development. Ability to carry out highway site inspections with an understanding of the environmental challenges of an inner London borough. Proficient in IT, particularly MS Office and Street Works Management Systems
