Senior Application Support Engineer – Permanent – £40,000 - £50,000 – Hybrid (East Midlands, UK) We’re seeking an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis. This critical role involves providing technical support across various software applications and IT systems, particularly ERP and data-driven platforms, ensuring the smooth operation of applications and delivering an excellent customer experience. You’ll work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and ensure the ongoing efficiency of the organisation’s systems. Senior Application Support Engineer Requirements : Proven experience in an application or software support role. Strong experience with ERP systems or similar enterprise applications (MS Dynamics experience is advantageous but not required). Hands-on experience with data tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, or Tableau. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to collaborate with development teams and escalate complex technical issues. Strong communication skills, comfortable working with stakeholders at various levels. Senior Application Support Engineer Desirable Skills : Experience with MS Dynamics or similar ERP systems. Previous experience providing training and support to users on application functionalities. Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create detailed troubleshooting guides and best practices.
