Head of Tax

Eton Bridge Partners are working exclusively with a growing multinational business, to appoint a Head of Tax. This role will be to support on continuous tax improvements to support their growth strategy.Location: London (must be 3 days in the office)Compensation: c. £130k- £140k plus packageKey Responsibilities:Tax accounting – preparation of year end tax numbers for the stat accounts, workings, disclosure etc. under IFRS and liaising with external auditorsCash tax planning / budgets / forecasting / tax authority payments on accountUK corporation tax returns – prepared internally for submission to HMRC, and managing the relationship with HMRC.Responsibility for non-UK taxes, especially corporate income tax and VAT. Management of tax auditsTransfer pricing – ensure annual compliance across the various countries and monitoring risk marginsCorporate income tax planning – restructuring entities, possible acquisitions or disposals, new country set-up etc.VAT – review of UK VAT returns & oversight of overseas VAT returns, management of any VAT audits / VAT litigation, general VAT queries Payroll – overview of payroll including review of PAYE settlement agreement, dealing with ad-hoc questions, salary sacrifice, advice to HR departmentAd-hoc – tax strategy, M&A, Senior Accounting Officer, supervision of R&D claims, royalty income and withholding tax etc.Management of relationships with external advisersCandidate Profile:Qualified Tax AccountantHas been in a SAAS type industry International experienceStrong tax management experienceDisclaimer: Eton Bridge Partners receives extensive applications to advertised opportunities, and as much as we endeavour to respond promptly to each application we would advise that if you have not received communication within 10 working days consider your application unsuccessful at this time.
