Chief Data Scientist

Wenham Carter search firm is partnered with a stealth mode AI startup in the Financial Services industry. Their mission is to use Gen AI and advanced technologies to create smarter, more efficient financial services solutions and they are seeking a visionary Chief Data Scientist to lead the data strategy and roadmap.

We are looking for:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science
• Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in machine learning, generative AI, large language models, and data visualization tools. Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
• Understanding of the insurance industry and insurtech trends would be a bonus but not essential
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Startup experience, ideally as a core founding team member at an AI tech startup

Location wise, we are looking for someone to be present in the office in central London on a regular weekly basis.
