Transport Administrator

Transport Administrator    Dartford 25k-27k – competitive salary dependent on experience & attitude Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Hybrid working available once competent in role Do you have a Logistics background?  Are you passionate about your career and looking for a company where hard work is rewarded? I am currently seeking a well organised, dynamic and committed candidate with a background in Transport Administration.  This role is an important position within the team and requires a switched on, hard working applicant with the ability to solve problems and work quickly and effectively. You will be an active, hands-on member of the team, dealing with various tasks within the transport department. Duties for this role include: Processing orders generated from the TMS Liaising with other departments including drivers to ensure a smooth-running operation Speaking to customers directly whether that be in relation to deliveries or collections Updating various inhouse systems Regular contact with subcontractors Processing delivery paperwork Updating customers on ETA’s Assisting staff at Director level with any administration duties The successful candidate will have/be: Recent experience working within a similar role Excellent communication skills The ability to work well alone as well as within a team Well organised and committed A proactive approach to work and have the ability to think on their feet in a fast paced environment This presents an excellent chance to become part of an exciting, growing International organisation.
