Warehouse Operative

We are working in partnership with an established company in Witham looking for a Warehouse Operative with aspirations to progress. The role will start in the warehouse but move into a hybrid position between the warehouse and office. This Warehouse Operative role is a Permanent position Your day-to-day duties will include: - Working as part of the warehouse team - Unloading containers onto pallets counting the weight on the pallets to be put away on the racking - Picking and packing goods using a handheld scanner, being able to count and tally stock - Housekeeping including daily sweeping, compacting etc. - Use of emails and warehouse computer stock control systems The ideal candidate: - Able to use/learn warehouse computer systems and emails - Good level of arithmetic for stock counting and weight tallying - Physically fit and healthy for manual work Benefits: - The role will progress to a hybrid position between the warehouse roles and office-based roles - Opportunities for training on a pivot steer forklift - Free parking, increased pension Pay rate and working hours: - Pay will be between £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience - Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 If you want to apply to this role, please click Apply Now.
